Executive Board

Lesley Evans – Operations Director

I joined Our Health Partnership in early 2016. I used to be Director of Primary Care at Birmingham Cross City CCG. Before that I was Integration and Programme Manager on the Better Care Programme in Birmingham (covering Birmingham Cross City CCG, Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG, Birmingham South Central CCG and Birmingham City Council.)

I came to Our Health Partnership because I strongly believe that it’s the kind of organisation that offers an answer to the challenges of general practice, but also forms part of a wider health system solution.

All of my career has been spent in the NHS, with considerable time in Acute Foundation Trusts, Community Trust and CCGs. I have also worked as Deputy Finance Director at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust and for Birmingham Children’s Hospital – I am a qualified accountant.

Outside work I help my husband run his catering company, based in Redditch. I have three children – two teenagers and one grown up. My life revolves around the family – I love holidays, own two greyhounds and am a keen supporter of West Bromwich Albion!

Paul Jarvis – Finance Director

I am a qualified management accountant who worked for seven years in NHS commissioning in Warwickshire, most recently as Chief Finance Officer for NHS South Warwickshire CCG. Before that I spent sixteen years in the acute hospital sector, including time at Worcestershire Acute, Birmingham Women’s Hospital and University Hospital Birmingham.

I was involved in the launch of Warwickshire CCG and in its subsequent development into a fully functioning and successful clinical commissioning organisation. During that time I worked closely with the CCG’s clinical leadership team. In my career as an NHS finance professional I have supported the establishment of a satellite renal dialysis unit at Kidderminster, new community based models of care in South Warwickshire and the reconfiguration of stroke services across Coventry and Warwickshire.

I joined OHP because I believe that primary care is a massively important part of the NHS. I also feel that the pressures the NHS is now under, such as an aging population, greater number of patients with complex needs, and ongoing restrains on funding growth, are all forcing the kind of changes in how care is delivered that will place primary care at the heart of the delivery & management of out of hospital services for patients.

Outside work I enjoy running, reading and playing musical instruments including electric guitar and bass guitar.

Sarah Longland – Business Manager

I am qualified in Human Resources Management and I have over 25 years experience in HR and General Management positions, in both commercial and general organisations. I have been able to utilise my skills in both single site and GP at scale organisations.

I am currently the Business Manager for the Sutton Coldfield Group Practices which is a fully merged practice with 24 Partners, 150 employees and approximately 52,000 patients. I am pleased to have been appointed to the Our Health Partnership board to be able to support the implementation of the strategic vision of this innovative and exciting organisation.

In my spare time I sing soprano in Cantabile choir in Derbyshire and tread the amateur dramatic boards from time to time. I also play an occasional round of golf now and again, time and weather permitting!
